The Laden Showroom to launch etail site

The Laden Showroom, home to young, independent fashion designers in the heart of East london, is set to launch a standalone website on February 22.

The iconic destination store, located at 103 Brick Lane, features over 65 young designers and is definitely worth a vist if you’re in London. Described by Time Out Magazine as “a font of experimental design” while the London Evening Standard called it a “cult store”, the shop is a creative hub of fresh design talent.

If you’re into your niche labels and love rummaging around for new designers, The Laden Showroom is the store for you.

So, good news- the showroom is launching its first website at the end of this month and you’ll be able to get your hands on all those fabulous labels wherever you are.

The Laden Showroom already has an online presence at Asos, selling a selection of designers such as Bonnie, Chandelier, Pixie and Ruby Rocks. But this is the first time it will have its own site….can’t wait!

Julianne launches website

Julianne 1 Julianne, the luxury ready-to-wear clothing label, has launched a transactional website at www.julianneboutique.co.uk. The brand, which is also stocked at Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, combines femininity and glamour, using fabrics such as silks and French laces, to produce a collection which blurs the boundaries between intimate apparel and outerwear.

London-based Australian designer Nicky Adamo is taking her first tentative steps into retail, having previously just wholesaled the brand, and the collections are inspired by her frequent travels abroad. Nicky also launched Julianne Black this year, a diffusion line which focuses on softly tailored dresses, blouses and skirts and the website has a new bridal section.

Nicky says: “My philosophy is that we all need a little bit of decadence and glamour in our day, whether it’s wearing a silk chemise to bed or a lace blouse to work…”

Dresses start at £145 for a silk georgette piece lined with stretch silk satin, but you can also pick up a gorgeous silk camisole for £45. If you’re looking for that stunning party dress, or simply a luxurious blouse to wear to work, check out the new website…you won’t be disappointed.

At last! Zara and H and M to sell online

zara spring 09

So, so, so, so excited!!! Two of my favourite high street stores are launching online next year..Zara and H&M!!! I know it’s been a while in the coming..but still a massive date in the online diary..will keep you posted about launch dates as soon as I hear. I’m loving H&M at the moment and the fantastic collaborations they’ve been doing, most recently Jimmy Choo and Matthew Williamson before that.

Matthew Williamson scarf for H&M

I bought this gorgeous Matthew Williamson scarf from H&M at the time and everytime I wear it people comment on how nice it is- Matthew Williamson and affordable in the same sentence..brilliant!
