NARS New Andy Warhol-Inspired Collection!

As we approach the 25^th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s death NARS are commemorating one of the most innowative artists of all time with a limited edition make up collection inspired by his work and his spirit.

The 29 piece collection will arrive in two parts this autumn/winter. Part one launches exclusively in Sephora from 1^st October and will feature a range of ‘core’ products for eyes, lips and nails in an array of pop-art inspired colours, packaged in Warhol designs and taking their names from some of the artist’s most famous pieces like the infamous Soup Can, now a bright red nail polish.

Part two, the holiday collection, doesn’t launch until November. Taking inspiration from Warhol’s infamous Silver Studio, the second part of the range features a selection of beauty kits and palettes ideal for Christmas presents. We’re especially excited by the fabulous Self Portrait eye-shadow palettes which feature variations on Warhol’s 1967 painting and quotes from the man himself on the mirrors.

With some of his most famous works capturing some of the most glamourous women in history (Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and his muse Edie Sedgwick to name a few) Warhol’s fascination with beauty and colour was always plain to see and is reflected beautifully in this collection. Living by the philosophy that “If everyone isn’t beautiful, then no one is” we can’t think of anyone we’d rather take beauty inspiration from this season.
