Fusing art and the art of shopping, US lifestyle store Anthropologie is opening a pop up gallery on the King’s Road to exhibit Dust In Their Eyes, the vibrant work of Natasha Law.
In a unique collaboration with Eleven Fine Art, Anthropologie are doing their bit to showcase the talents of up and coming artists. Law was singled out for her bold, signature style, characterised by the use of layer upon layer of gloss paint to create a beautiful, almost liquid-like finish.
Ever wanted to hide from the world? Dust In Their Eyes highlights how we create barriers between ourselves and the outside world through defensive actions, from blowing bubblegum to hiding behind a curtain of hair.
Each piece captures human figures in a moment of action, whether it be removing an article of clothing or exhaling a plume of smoke. The results are visually stunning, brimming with emotion and narrative.
The work of Daisy de Villeneuve and Jennie Ottinger will also feature over two week periods at the store this summer.
The collaboration runs until the 5th July. For more information, visit Elevenfineart.com
