Monica Vinader – the luxury jewellery designer with a cult celebrity ‘Fiji’ following – introduced the new Pave and Siren collections this week at her press day in exclusive private member’s club Morton’s.

Launching just in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Pave collection features fine sterling silver and yellow and rose 18ct Gold Vermeil, set with precious stones and diamonds in an array of stunning necklaces, cuffs, rings and bracelets.

Seen on the likes of Minnie Driver at The Prometheus World Premier, the craftsmanship that has gone into each piece of the new range, including the Black Spinel Pave Chain Necklace, is a collection literally fit for a Queen.
The Siren takes its influences from sea-worn treasures, exquisite colours and cut gem stones in Amethyst, White Topaz and Green Onyx. The whole collection is the perfect accessory choice for a summer of long hazy evenings in exotic destinations (the FashionBite team is dreaming!)

A highlight is definitely the Stack Rings, which are presented in an array of colour stones and sizes and look amazing piled high on top of each other, complementing your skin tone (and Kaftan of choice).

Having being born in Spain and raised by the sea, it is evident the love for the ocean is still Monica’s main source of inspiration; which is apparent in the underwater swirl and shell designs of her first ever scarf collection, which is due to launch late summer. In addition, the brand has launched a complimentary in store engraving service every Saturday, which is soon to debut online.

FashionBite was lucky enough to catch up with the designer at the launch. She said: “Introducing scarves was a natural progression for the brand. I see scarves as an extension of our jewellery.” Monica said she is also looking into other new categories and would love to launch a leather goods range (we hope so!)
Still a firm favourite of the label however is the Fiji bracelet, available this month in neon yellow and pink (FashionBite loves!!). Bang on trend with this summer’s hot neon trend, Kylie Minogue has already tweeted her excitement for the newest edition of this iconic bracelet. That trip to Ibiza is screaming out for one of these fluoro beauties – do not miss out!!
