BEAUTY REVIEW: An Omorovicza experience as the snow falls outside!

Omorovicza, FashionBite ReviewAs the snow piled deep outside my front door this weekend, I decided to stay indoors, keep warm and treat myself to the ultimate at-home spa day using a selection of products from the luxurious, award winning Hungarian skincare brand Omorozicza (I even persuaded the boyfriend to join in!)

After a long, hot bath (complete with relaxing bath oils from Aromatherapy Associates and a True Grace candle burning), I applied the Omorozicza Deep Cleansing Face Mask (£57) to my freshly cleansed skin.

The calcium and magnesium-rich, white clay mask claims to “actively energise and brighten the skin, whilst drawing out impurities.” I’ve noticed January/February has really hit my skin hard. I’ve had breakouts of spots and dry patches and it really doesn’t feel in the best condition (so this was the perfect opportunity to give it a much-needed boost!)

The mask felt cool and tingly on my skin initially and I left it on for 20 minutes, whilst the clay dried and tightened my skin. As I washed off the mask, my skin emerged feeling so smooth and it looked much brighter – I have to say, I was very impressed with the results. I can really see the difference (particularly as it appeared so tired and dull before).

Omorovicza uses a patented system, which it says “enables a potent blend of minerals to be absorbed by the epidermis and dermis in unprecedented levels.” The brand has been inspired by the healing powers of Hungary’s famous thermal baths and uses the “rejuvenating powers of the mineral-rich waters” in its products. It has found this mixture of minerals, which is found naturally in the thermal waters of Hungary, surpasses some of the most advanced anti-aging skincare products on the market.

After the face mask, I applied the Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream (£96), which contains a mixture of carrot and almond oils, hazelnut peptide and apple pectin; intended to deeply hydrate, firm and plump the skin overnight. Again, the following morning after applying this lightly-scented moisturiser my skin appeared so refreshed and younger looking – it has really made a difference at this time of year!

Finally (and so importantly in the winter months), I slathered on a thick layer of the Nourishing Hand Treatment (£45), which again has a subtle but gorgeous scent.
