COMPETITION: Cast Yourself with L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss!

The lovely folks at L’Oreal are giving you the chance to star in the next Casting Crème commercial, with none other than Cheryl Cole!

To enter, visit L’Oreal’s facebook page at Facebook.com/LOrealParisUK, like their page and upload a pic of yourself (after you’ve had a go colouring your hair with the Casting Crème Gloss) and tell them what you love about it.

I love experimenting with hair colour, I’m currently blond but was v.dark brown/black before and have been everything in between at some point!

When I was working at London Fashion Week this season I interviewed the world leading hair stylist Peter Gray, who regularly works with fashion titles such as Vogue and Harpers Baazar, along with big celebrity names. He said the absolute key thing for great hair is finding product(s) that will both improve and preserve the condition and colour, [such as the L’Oreal’s Casting Crème Gloss]. It is also key to have fun with hair.

I asked him what made up his essentials kit and (surprisingly) he said dressing making elastic! “The elastic is covered in fabric so it doesn’t damage the hair; there isn’t the metal bit that a normal hair band would have,” he told me. You can also cut it to the exact size you want. He showed me an example, cutting one for me, and he was absolutely right – it’s a brilliant hair tip and definitely one I’d recommend.
