Selfridges, Christmas in July, FashionBite 19Selfridges Christmas in July press day was a very festive affair…as you can imagine! Complete with faux snow, carols, a backdrop of Christmas trees and a flurry of white (the theme of the day) everywhere you looked…Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Balenciaga, Tom Ford and Chanel were just some of the fabulous designers showcasing pieces from their autumn/winter 11 ranges during the press event in the lower ground floor of Selfridges Oxford Street flagship.

Selfridges, Christmas in July, FashionBiteI was also amazed to see the world’s first 3D phone - which doesn’t require specs – from LG. It was incredible, I watched in wonder as footage of someone diving into the sea, splashing through the waves and swimming underwater jumped out at me. Although, it did make my eyes go slightly funny at a few points adjusting to the effects!

Selfridges, Christmas in July, FashionBiteI also loved the creamy, off-white Alexa Mulberry and beautifully soft faux fur accessories. I’m nowhere near ready for winter yet (please can we have some more summer first?!), but after the Christmas showcase, I can’t wait for the autumn/winter products!
