Rockport to launch first UK store and website
US footwear brand Rockport is launching its first UK standalone store in London’s South Molton Street next month, alongside a transactional website which is due to debut this autumn.
The shop, which will be located at 5 South Molton Street, will showcase Rockport’s men’s and women’s shoe collections alongside its accessories ranges.
I own some fab Rockport bunker boots in brown leather which I love (below right), see FashionBite’s post Rockport:Hot Lace-up Biker Boots and although the brand is not known for its directional style, the shoes look great on and are so comfortable.
Owned by the Adidas Group, Rockport said its first UK shop will also feature a unique store concept – keeping all stock on the shop floor, (rather than having assistants running up and down to grab the different sizes)…shoe shopping just won’t be the same!
Rockport general manager for UK and Ireland Matthew O’Conner said: “Our store concept allows our sales associates to remain engaged with Rockport customers during their Rockport shopping visit, for a superior consumer experience.”
