NEW – Whistles teams up with Cowshed for debut bodycare range
Premium fashion retailer Whistles has teamed up with Cowshed, the upmarket spa label, to launch its first bodycare line, the Whistling Cow collection…
The collection consists of four of Cowshed’s core products, wrapped up in red and white packaging. The design aims to celebrate the launch of Whistles fabulous seventies-inspired debut swimsuit range, which comes in the same colour.
Cowshed invited FashionBite to its Soho store to test the range, which looks, and smells, great. While there, we caught up with Cowshed director Christina Russillo who said that Whistles had approached the cosmetics brand about the collaboration.
The link up works well for both brands, with Cowshed keen to move into clothing, with the launch of its loungewear collection this summer, and Whistles keen to explore the possibilities of stocking bodycare ranges.
Russillo said: “As far as I’m aware, this is the first bodycare range that Whistles has launched.” She added that skincare is an avenue Whistles is keen to explore.
The limited edition Whistling Cow collection features a hand wash, hand cream, show gel and body lotion. It will be sold both in-store and online by both Whistles and Cowshed.
The collection is the latest addition to Cowshed’s fast-growing repertoire. In November, the brand launched its Living range, which features products such as notebooks and baby lines.
Cowshed was created by the Soho House Group in 1998, to use in the spa of its private member’s club Babington House. Since launching, the brand is now stocked in Soho House Group spas around the world, and has launched standalone stores in cities including London and New York.
