Selfridges hands over Oxford Street windows to young fashion designers
The windows look incredible and if you’re around the area, they’re definitely worth popping down to see.
Charlie Le Mindu’s window display, the designer who recently won OnOff’s Visionary Award, is pictured (top). For more info on Charlie le Mindu, see FashionBite’s post ‘Charlie Le Mindu Wins Visionary Award for LFW.’ Alongside Alex Noble (second pic), who’s best known for styling Lady Gaga.
About ten designers and artists are currently showcasing in Selfridge’s London windows and on February 4th ten more will launch. The iniative will run until the end of February.
Other designers displaying their work include OnOff designer Yang Du, Simone Rocha (daughter of John) and Shao Yen…amongst others!
The 20 designers will also feature in pop-up shops in store.
I absolutely adore selfridges and this latest initiative is just another example of the department store’s innovative vision and fabulously creative approach to fashion…if only I could afford everything in there!

Hi there, thought you may like to know that the furniture used (Chaise Longue and Dressing Table) in the Charlie Le Mindu window display was ours… they were great and we were so excited to have our furniture used in the display.
