Yes, I couldn’t believe it when Grazia landed on my mat this week…a clothing range!! ??

The weekly glossy has launched its first ever clothing line called ’Grazia Exclusive Collection,’ which you can buy online at www.graziadaily.co.uk/shop. The range features 11 key fashion pieces for autumn/winter, designed with a little help from your favourite high street brands. I’ve got my eye on the grey, cashmere-mix wrap coat (above right) in association with Whistles- but it’s certainly not a snatch at £350. However, the mix of brands are as eclectic as the price points -so there’s sure to be something for everyone’s budget!

I’ve also got my eye on the grey marl jersey dress (above left)- in association with Oasis and not bad at £50. Other retailers who have worked on the collection include Warehouse, River Island, French Connection, Marks & Spencer, Topshop, Asos and Accessorize. Interesting concept, I wonder if it will pave the way for other magazines to launch own-label clothing ranges..?

Anyway, I’m off to the Debenhams beauty press day this afternoon, where they’ll be unveiling the must-have beauty buys for this Christmas..so keep posted and I’ll update later…

Sorry, just waiting for Debs images..will update shortly!

Had to flag up this cool, vintage-inspired brand Motel, you can buy it online at www.motelrocks.com. It was born out of rifling through thrift stores on the West Coast of America about ten years ago, and the prints-driven label has grown massively since then. The price points are great, hovering around the £30 to £40 mark, and the brand creates statement pieces without you having to break the bank!

Motel also has a store in Bristol which stocks vintage bags, boots and scarves, as well as it’s own label. The brand describes itself as ‘punk, left-field and retro’ and it’s already getting quite a cult celebrity following…so check it our for yourselves! I know I’ve got my eye on a few pieces..

Amazon strikes again

Javari

Amazon, the online titan, has launched a new footwear/accessories website in the UK www.javari.co.uk. Javari (interesting name!- based on its Japanese sister shoe site) will really shake-up the online world!

The site looks great, is simple to navigate and has many top name brands on board, such as CK Calvin Klein and KG by Kurt Geiger- but what is AMAZING about it is the delivery/return options. Javari offers free one-day delivery and free returns for 365 days..yes, within a year!! It also offers 100% price match guarantee-if you order something and find it cheaper somewhere else- you’ll be credited for the difference. Javari will be piggy-backing Amazon’s colossal back office operation to do this…but it’s sure to ramp up the game for it’s online competitors!  Watch this space!

Berry burst

collection_powerberry

The power of the superfood has arrived…in face wash format! Neals Yard Remedies, the organic skincare firm, has launched a new ‘Power Berry’ range for younger skin. The collection uses well known ‘superfood berries’ such as acai, goji, bilberry and blueberry in a face wash, moisturiser and face mask to give your skin a superhealthy boost. The range is targeting  18-25 year olds to help defend younger skin against the effects of ‘environment stress’. You can buy it online at www.nealsyardsremedies.com.

I’ve been using all three for the last month- they smell amazing and feel great on the skin…and you’ve got to feel a bit smug after putting ’superfoods’ on your face..just wish my diet was as healthy!

Jarlo

Also, thought I’d just flag up this new online clothing brand www.jarlolondon.com. It stated life as a stall on Portabello Road and has grown into a fab collection of vibrant prints and vintage inspired pieces. Jarlo’s autumn range is inspired by 80′s styling and fabrics -such as lace, velvet, jersey and satin..so check it out for yourselves!
